Company Mission Statement

 

To work alongside individuals with mental health difficulties, to maximise their full potential, within their individual lives and within their local communities.
Our aim is to promote social inclusion and equal opportunity and promote awareness of mental health within the community.

 

On average one in four of us will experience a mental health problem in the course of a year. These problems can cause real and lasting damage, both to the individual and to the community. Fortunately the majority of people who experience mental health problems can recover or learn to live with them especially if they get help early enough.

Unfortunately many people experiencing a mental health problem don’t receive the right kind of help and some don’t receive any help at all. In fact many people with mental health problems suffer prejudice and stigma or are discriminated against.

Through our three projects, Assert, Reachout and the Resource Centre, Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource provides services, which aim to help people aged between 18 – 65 to access appropriate care and assistance in a safe and caring environment provided by an excellent team of professionals.

A drop-in centre where members can enjoy the friendship and support of others going through the same experience.
Reach Out
A project providing peer support networks for members in Hawkhurst, Cranbrook and Paddock Wood with forums in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
